Sponsored Post: Singapore International Water Week 2014

In conjunction with Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) 2014, SIWW, along with 7 of its founding sponsors will be raising money for water.org through #SIWWPledge!

This one of its kind movement was introduced as part of SIWW's goal to rally the global community towards finding innovative and sustainable technological financial solutions to meet safe water and sanitation needs globally.

First of all, let me tell you more about the importance of having clean and safe water!

We all need SAFE WATER to LIVE!

How many people in the world is living without water access?

7.83 million, that's about 1 out of 9 people.

3.4 million people in the world die each year from a water related disease.

On top of that, 1 child dies from a water related disease every 21 seconds.

The number is constantly growing, and we shouldn't just do nothing.
We are all blessed to live in a developed country, and ALL of us in Singapore has access to CLEAN, SAFE, water.
All of us are taking this blessing for granted when there are so many people suffering without access to safe water in the developing countries.

WE CAN PLAY A PART. AND IT IS EASY!!!

Let me tell you how.

Through the #SIWWPledge, we can make a difference just by giving A LIKE.

For every like/pledge made by online fans, #SIWWPledge will donate $1 to water.org!

  2. 1 person die in every 15 seconds (2009) is worse than 1 person dying every 21 seconds (today), no? Means got improvement over the years what? Haha confusing sia.
